GTS single and double head (twin head or dual head) counting technology is one of the safest counting mechanisms on the international market. The disc is automatically positioned on the stack to be counted. Extremely fast rotating, the disc works independently of the material, sheet by sheet through the stack. GTS counting machines can process both paper and plastics. When a leaf has passed through a segment of the disc, the count is triggered. With this technology GTS counters deliver accurate results. During the counting process, the medium is handled carefully, leaving no marks on the medium. The corners of the stack are neither affected nor bent.

The counting process can be stopped in a defined manner, the gap resulting from the counting disc can be effortlessly used for further processing, for example to separate, to grip or for other specific applications. Both, double head and single head counters are used in GTS counting machines.
